But that’s the thing: they aren’t, really. While many people might present with bravado and claim to violently hate CSA’ers above all else, whenever it comes down to an actual real life abuser right in front of them every time something falters and something about them makes them an exception and they are perfectly happy to collaborate and work as accomplices. Which is part of how rape/CSA culture operates—this kind of behavior is endorsed by many powerful systems and institutions and stigma against harmless-but-associated traits is a misdirection.
