General Data Protection Regulation

As much as I like privacy, some parts of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) can be very frustrating to deal with.

For instance:

On the other hand, some forms of government snooping might be defeated by the GDPR. The primary issue with it is that the GDPR aims to be an extra-jurisdictional law, it doesn’t go by where the server is located, but where a specific user is accessing it from.
