I can only speak of what I’ve seen. I watched a 3-hour undercover video of a journalist going to a number of gay bars and casually asking about how these men became gay. The overwhelming majority were raped as young boys by another man. Many of them engage in the same activity. Looking for young ‘virgin’ boys (like 8yo) they can have sex with whether with or without consent.
One guy openly spoke how he still has gay sex and relationships and hates himself because he was raped as a boy. He may have been drunk, which takes off the filter, so the rage about him being abused was obvious.
In another true story. Look up the name Clark Fredericks to see what can happen when someone in a position of authority abuses a child’s trust. It ain’t pretty. Thankfully Clark has turned his life around and speaks publicly about his experience. I went to HS with him. He was always very polite and quiet.
I can understand wanting to give trans teenagers a fair shake, Protecting their right to choose if they grow into it themselves. It should never be something they’re coerced into doing. And that’s my beef. I’ve seen trans schoolteachers who are not the sex ed teacher, pushing their views on their students and that’s wrong.
That’s what I see is being done in our society. Planting the seeds of self-doubt in them instead of openly talking with them about the differences between straight, gay, lesbian, and trans. Especially the consequences of stopping puberty with drugs, nevermind the irreversable surgeries. Which as far as I’ve heard, not only results in serious health problems later on, but a 60% suicide rate.
I read and watch interviews with really intelligent people on a variety of topics, so I’m not going to take the time to go back and find the source. I put it in the memory bank when I see it.
