Who is an “offender” when the crime involves a doll?

The person owning the doll. The person in possession of it is normalizing child rape.

And I normalize murder every time I play as the Dark Brotherhood in Skyrim. Thing is, sane people know the difference between fiction and reality. You are not among the sane.

Are you arguing that the doll has rights?

As a survivor of child sexual abuse myself, I urge you to be considerate of all sides and perspectives. The truth will come out eventually. I was once like you - a supporter of prohibition and criminalization regarding all things, be them viewpoints, ideas, interests, fetishes, etc related to pedophilic or explicit ideas regarding minors. But after some time, I began to question those prejudices and their logic and how they comport with reason, science, and reality and found myself in a completely different position.

Pedophilia is unfortunate. It is undesirable, it is uncomfortable for many - but we must be able to set aside those prejudices and look upon things with reason of we’re to address and understand any of the perceived harms related to it.
The DSM-5 points out a distinction between pedophilic disorder and pedophilic sexual interest or orientation, in that the former is what drives people to commit sexual offenses against children, whereas the latter are not likely, if at all, to commit offenses.
So long as no real minors are harmed or involved in any way, there shouldn’t be any prohibition. Prohibition should only be reserved for serious, actual crimes, such as child pornography or CSAM.
