Apparently they are now going after dolls that are simply “suggestive” stating that the functionality of the doll does not matter. This basically means that any R-18 anime figurine is now also being witch-hunted. Any regular doll can be put into certain positions, so the only way is to ban any and all dolls. Which Reuters apparently wants by highlighting “irrespective of their functionality.”.
I genuinely have never seen so much moral panic, but everyone is jumping on the bandwagon I guess? If you hate fiction then now is the time to get as much banned as possible.

Basically they’re going to use these “child protection” laws to classify anything they deem the same as “child abuse”. Child abuse is the abuse of an actual child!! Not an AI or drawn image or anime or any facsimile of a fictitious child that never existed or was ever alive!!
Anything that anyone at any time for any reason that “may, possibly, could” suggest someone having any kind of sexual thought is likely going to be banned. All in the name of “child safety”. Puritanism rules the day! The gloves need to come off folks!!! We need to go after these abusers of authority, trying to control behavior, society, and take away freedoms of harmless expression and THOUGHTS!! PERSONAL THOUGHTS!!! And stop turning everything into a sexualized reality of actual child abuse against a real, actual child!!
