As an abuse survivor myself, I find it abhorrently and egregiously offensive that you would dare equate the abuse I suffered as a child to private masturbatory activities involving a doll!

How DARE YOU call for, in the face of scientific, empirical evidence, the state-sanctioned stigmatization of an oppressed group as a lazy, half-hearted attempt to sate your own emotional desires and personal feelings around a socially taboo topic!! The thread was born in 2020, so this is late.
If we agree that tossing a doll into a wood chipper neither harms anyone nor conveys intent to harm, then claiming that the way someone handles a doll conveys intent to harm doesnāt make sense.
Extending human rights to a doll is extending human rights to a lifeless object. No matter what itās called or how itās framed, punishing someone for doll ownership completely satisfies the duck test for extending human rights to a lifeless object.
No oneās freedom should depend on pretending that a doll has human rights.

Yāall anti takes are really unnecessarily aggressive and really extremist to an extent. Like dude, yāall seriously think that itās reasonable to want to ban and make people pay LOTS of money just because of the ownership of something that yāall consider wrong? And seriously, Joycelin take is almost insaneā¦ Like, you are really going to charge people owning sex toys because then people will never trivialize child sexual abuse? Like, arenāt there any other better methods than charging people and treating them like monsters and offenders because of personal property? And also, why would a few pedophiles or people attracted to underage people in general owning dolls make society as a whole trivialize CSA as a crime? And even saying that the ownership of a sex doll needs to have higher sentence than actual MURDER.

The same vitriolic brush is used to paint any group the torch carrying, morality, lynch mob doesnāt care for. You could replace āā¦a child abuse dollā with any number of fill-in-the blank statements. ādriving drunkā, ādoing drugsā, hell ā[anything] drugsā, ā[unnatural] sexā (according to the āproperā male/female morally acceptable way). āCatching your spose having sex with someone elseā, wait, no, then apparently itās OK to murder either or both of them. 
In the 70s and 80s it was gay men, then spread to lesbian women, anyone with any kind of sexual fetish (such as BDSM), now itās LGBTQ+. Letās not forget ANYTHING relating to children in any way shape or form. Adult diaper play, age play. Yeah, THOSE people are the worst kind of creeps! Now doll owners, especially people that have the child-like ones. Theyāre for certain having deviant thoughts and out to harm children, for sure! Couldnāt be further from the truth! The most likely people to protect children more than theyāre asshole parents! The attraction runs deep into the soul and harming another being, is the LAST thing any of them wants to do!
Everyone gets the āpedophileā label, āthrow 'em in the woodchipper!ā they shout! The āthought policeā looking for anyone who doesnāt fall in line with the boy-scout/goody-two-shoes religious doctrines. Those same people will make exceptions when it comes to their own interests.
If anyone really knew what MOST people were thinking when it came to ANY deviant thought or thoughts of doing harm or murdering someone; the entire human race should be wiped out.
I donāt believe in religion, but the statement, ālet he who is without sin cast the first stoneā speaks volumes about the substance of human ego. Everyone thinks theyāre above everyone else. Somehow more righteous than the next person. Theyāre just a different version with the same dark streak that runs through the entire species.
Statements such as the title of this thread and most of the seething hatred against others stems from absolute blind ignorance!
These are sore points when actual criminals are treated better than the average citizen anymore! And people with attractions, never offending, get the same attitude. A desire for people to murder them. Sadly offenders get the same attitudes and are generally āfair gameā to beat and murder from those same criminals! But it was OK for any of them to deal drugs (to adults and to kids), stab someone, rob someone, rape someone, shoot someone. When some of those same people introduced kids to drugs and alcohol, got them involved with gangs and the same criminal behavior, ruining their lives. But that āpedoā desrves death! Itās fucking sick!!

As I remember, the Boy Scouts and some well-known religious organizations, are among those with a big history of CSA. And donāt forget that many, if not most, child abusers are not pedophiles in the first place.

You get the point. All the self-righteous are just wolves in disguise. Not MAPs, no attraction, just outright selfish, evil, monsters claiming false righteousness as a ruse to take eyes off of them. Pointing fingers at everyone else. Until that young boy scout grows up, his life in shambles, and murders his abuser years later. Who was an upright citizen. An active member of law enforcement. A boy scout leader. So he also had access to kids in juvenile detention to take them on weekend excursions. Itās demonic.
