Im 15 and my dad is a MAP. People are always negative to him when they find out and i want to be supportive of him but i dont know how

Listen to him and defend him when that stuff happens. Talk to him about it and treat it as no different from any other sexual attraction in the world.

People will always respond negatively. They’ll label him a pedophile not understanding anything. And always think less of him because of it. Like he’s some kind of potential molester or just a creep in general. It sucks! And not to ask, but if he’s gay the reaction will be 10X worse. Just be his kid and love him. That’s all I can tell you. You’ll never win in the court of public opinion. All you can do is connect with others that have the same thing going on, like us. And direct him to do the same. We know it’s a fruitless endeavor.
