Reddit only supports MAPs who offend

Today I learned Reddit bans people for talking about being non-offending MAPs but allows a support subreddit for convicted offenders to exist. They’re withholding support spaces unless and until someone offends. That’s empirically the opposite of preventing abuse. (I don’t oppose the subreddit existing, but allowing that while banning non-offenders is insane and sends a very dangerous message to anyone who needs support to not offend)

Another mark against Reddit as a platform.

Are there any MAP-friendly platforms left at this stage (other then self-hosted environments)?

I think some of the new social media platforms are a bit more tolerant, but if you’re looking for something explicitly supportive, you’d probably need something intended for MAPs

What’s the sub reddit called? I don’t use Reddit at all but it is interesting to try and see what kind of interactions they have

I think it was r/sexoffendersupport.

I didn’t do more than a glance to confirm its existence before posting, so idk how useful or active it is
