Honestly, I don’t feel like I have a choice. My older brother was murdered in prison just because he had the same thoughts. And that basically solidified my “need” to suppress even more, I can’t even mention it to my psychiatrist because of what happened to my brother. Most of us really want help, and we all need help. But society is unforgiving and cruel. And when I get some thoughts, it’s gotten to the point where I want to die because, in my mind, I might as well be dead anyway. It just hurts more when Ik that there is no way whatsoever to talk about this with anyone, social media, in person, messaging, texting, calling, I just can’t do it. When I was able to talk to my brother when he was in prison, all he talked about was trying to find help and how he was beaten senseless almost daily. And the last time he called, I didn’t answer because I was a little busy. And that missed call, was my last opportunity to speak to him. I wish that society would allow us to get help. But the media has all but nailed the coffin shut.
