I’m not surprised these laws pass. What I would be surprised with is if a case went to a judge and the “possession” parts of the law were ruled constitutional.

Even if posession is impossible to ban due to the constitution it still is banned indirectly through a ban on import/transportation.

Most pedophiles won’t have a doll right now and those who are too young or do not exist right now will never be able to legally acquire one.

This makes me depressed, honestly. But t also means that my hypothesis that most pedos aren’t going to have a doll even if they are legal and that it’s impossible for them to increase the child abuse rate is pretty correct.

Interstate shipments do not go through customs because there are no customs levies among states within the United States.

Once the shipment clears CBP, there are no other checks made.

So when are adult actors being put in prison for looking too young? How is that left untouched if dolls are so scary?

So who will decide if a doll is child-like? A fat western man who has never seen an Asian woman? These laws are both virtue signalling and racist. You can best tell in Australia where a doll is considered a child if it has an A-cup size.

Majority cup-size in Asia is AA BTW. So most dolls are not even intended to be child-like which makes this outrage even funnier.

the CBLDF have already expressed interest in defending against any punitive action taken towards fiction. So has the NCAC (Natl. Coalition Against Censorship) and ACLU, since there exists precedent which could impede the enforcement against the possession of dolls and fiction.

we’re living in dark times. All I can say is don’t vote for those who endorse the prosecution of thoughtcrimes.

Idk man. Every time when they were defending fiction - that I am aware of - they used arguments such as that not every character is meant to be child etc. Idk if they really wanna defend dolls that are referred to as “child sex dolls”

It is also a lot different to defend art and the creative process than sex objects.

The ACLU specifically lobbied against at least one state bill which tried to include fictional and/or non-realistic contents within the scope of their AI CSAM legislation, citing SCOTUS precedent.
