I don’t want people around me to hear words like “lolicon”, “loli”, “pedophile”, “child sexual abuse”. These are very disturbing phrases for the average person and I really don’t want to think they’re hearing it. If I see the word “child sexual abuse” even, that is a trigger and I immediately bail. I cannot tell you why because I do not know.
I recommend producing transcripts whenever possible for podcasts and videos and encouraging others to do the same. Some platforms like YouTube can automatically do closed captions.
