Most of Predator Poachers’ operations take place on Grindr, an LGBT online dating application. Grindr became closely associated with Predator Poachers’ brand on its YouTube channel, whose banner featured an illustration of a smartphone displaying a Grindr conversation. In an interview with The Verge , Rosen stated that the reason why “we use Grindr as number one is because… I didn’t have pictures of underage girls on my phone,” he told the organization. “I do have a little brother though, and I did have pictures of him on my phone.”[4] A 2020 article by Cincinnati CityBeat stated that, in many videos, Rosen seemed “to instigate fights, or use excessive profanity and derogatory terms”, and that the language he had used on video resulted in his YouTube channel receiving two strikes.[8]
When asked about the opinion of law-enforcement officials who say that such matter should be left to police departments, Rosen said that “every single department is either going to say nothing or discourage it publicly, but we’ve seen that departments that discourage it publicly will work to prosecute our cases”. Upon being interviewed by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch about the topic in 2019, some law-enforcement officers stated that the phenomenon of predator hunters can create a new form of mob justice and engineer chaotic situations that should be left to professionals.[9]
On July 24, 2024, Rosen stated that a 60-year-old man had died by suicide after Rosen and his team accused him of viewing child pornography. According to court documents, the man, Donald Anthony Letcher had been previously accused of child molestation in the 1990s in a criminal case that was ultimately dismissed by the prosecution after the South Dakota Supreme Court overturned the man’s conviction due to concerns regarding the credibility of the witnesses and another evidence-related issue that, the court stated, “severely prejudiced [his] ability to defend” himself. Rosen and his team were detained by police during the incident.[10]
Rosen has described himself as “very, very right-wing”, as a Libertarian and as a Conservative. He runs a 200,000 followers account on X (formerly known as Twitter).[11][1]
In June 2023, Rosen confronted COVID-19 expert Peter Hotez at home in Houston. The visit happened after Hotez declined to debate Democratic presidential candidate and anti-vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. During the encounter, which happened at the sidewalk of Hotez’s home, Rosen asked Hotez why he had refused to debate Kennedy and whether he believed in “vaccine injuries”. Hotez responded that he was still considering debating Kennedy and said “don’t come to my house” before going back inside. Later that day, Hotez stated on social media that he was “stalked in front of my home by a couple of antivaxers taunting me to debate RFK Jr.”[11][12]
Rosen has made negative statements against LGBT and transgender people. According to Texas Observer reporter Steven Monacelli, Rosen has described the LGBT community as a “cult”.[2] In a social-media post published prior to March 2020, Rosen called his followers to help cancel a drag queen story hour event at an Idaho library. “I don’t think that shit needs to be around kids, because kids are kids. They can’t decide what their preferences are at that young age,” he stated when asked about the post.[4]
In 2019, Rosen used a racial slur on video, an event that he later confirmed in a 2023 interview with the Evansville Courier & Press. In the interview, in which the news organization asked him about his previous use of racial slurs, Rosen stated that he is Jewish and that “I said it, but I’m not apologizing for it. Because, you know, people say that word has power. I mean, I don’t think making Holocaust or Jew jokes has any power.”[13] Rosen has repeatedly used racist epithets at the men that he meets in his sting operations.[4]
In October 2023, Rosen heckled 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at a Houston rally and accused her husband, Bill Clinton, of having visited Jeffrey Epstein’s island “26 times”. He was subsequently dragged out of the event by security.[17][18][19]
I also want to take this time to point out that, assuming this story is true, it’s a matter of throwing stones in a glass house. Twitter (I refuse to call it “X”) is a notorious hotbed of CSAM activity. For God’s sake, Elon Musk himself once infamously reinstated the account of somebody who literally posted CSAM (not to mention Musk’s own misadventures with Jeffrey Epstein; while Rosen heckled the Clintons over their own assocation with the child trafficker, as pointed out above). Musk recently made posts with the hashtag #pedosky. I’m willing to bet it’s to distract from Twitter’s own issues regarding CSAM (“Bluesky is the REAL pedohaven, don’t look over here!”).
Side note: what’s up with “pedo” being Musk’s go-to insult? He called the cave diver who rescued all those kids in Thailand a “pedoguy” because he called Musk’s submarine idea stupid, and he’s fallen deep into MAGA/QAnon nonsense. I know I shouldn’t gossip/baselessly speculate, but methinks he doth protest too much. Feels very projective (speaking from experience)…
Er, sorry for the tangent. Regarding wether Rosen found actual predators on Bluesky, I’ve no clue. But from what I’ve seen, Bluesky does a MUCH better job than Twitter at moderation. They don’t let stuff slide the way Twitter does. So who knows? All I know is that anybody still on Twitter is one to talk if they’re gonna be accusing other platforms of hosting CSAM.

I’m not at all surprised. These “predator hunters” don’t care about predators. They just want to find vulnerable victims to harass. Even better if their homophobic asses get to harass lgbtq+ people. Using adult dating apps to try to find child predators is the most asinine nonsensical thing. There are no kids on adult dating apps. Since there are no kids there…there’s obviously no child predators. Because you’re not going to find child predators in places where there’s no children. You’re going to find child predators in places where there ARE children. But again, these “predator hunters” don’t give a shit about that because they, in fact, are the predators. They get off on harassment.

I wouldn’t be surprised, honestly. Even pedo hunters often are predators themselves. Also, often they just want fame and not protect children. I don’t much about Elon as I don’t much about anyone famous tbh, but Twitter is in fact a rabbit hole of CP and other types of content, but it’s not just Twitter, social media like Instagram, TikTok and kawaii are guilty as well. Worst part is that often it’s the own child’s parent who post these stuff.

I can’t disagree with either of these statements. So often men will accuse and point out others as pedos to deflect attention from their own admiration of a young girl’s body. And likely the fact that it excites them as well! People are liars 85% of the time!
I think pedo hunters get off on the excitement of someone wanting to meet a minor not only for that sake, but also for the “gotcha” moment. Which they then resort to wanting to act on violent behavior toward them for the adrenaline rush the whole scenario brings about for them. It’s a different form of gratification for these junkies!
It’s like an unfulfilled fantasy for them!

I don’t remember his name, but I remember that a man who used to hunt pedophiles was arrested due to child porn. Also, I remember a group of pedo hunters who used to share images and pics of children (CP) so they could caught pedos. I also have read an article made by a pedophile who admitted that the shame made him become extremely “anti pedo” as a way to cope with the shame. I don’t doubt that 15% of the pedo hunters are pedos trying to deal with the shame or child predators projecting.

Are you thinking of Mike Echols? Got done for CP, not to mention violence and terrorism (as I remember he threatened to blow up a bus company). I think he died a few years ago.
Mind you, he’s not alone in being a predator, it seems a lot of the “hunters” are decidedly unsavoury.

Can confirm. Whenever I get super existential and self-loathing, I slip into an “anti-mode” and lash out at other pedophiles and lolicons and such. My irrational mind projects my own fears, doubts, and insecurities onto others and then uses those people as a punching bag. Really, it’s an expression of hatred towards myself. To “make up” for my own “sins” and shortcomings. I briefly mentioned it my opening paragraph on a recent post here:

I wish I could remember the name of the instagram account outright, but I cannot. Regardless, there’s an IG poster that has these quick summary clips of right-leaning or directly alt-right people who are Q-pilled or very vocal in decrying anyone Left of the extreme Right as being groomers, and the clips are of course press and police notices of said people being arrested for some truly heinous crimes against children. There are a lot of them, enough to fill an update every week.
Again, i dont recall the account name but I got there from watching reels on either thedivorcedvirgin or agirlhasnopresident IG accounts. Those are both women’s rights/common sense posters who tragically live in the Deep South.
There used to be, yeah. It was on Reddit r/antilolitary. Basically a subreddit to make joke of the lolitary subreddit which defends the rights of lolis.
They got banned, because they posted a picture of Anya from Spy x Family wearing a bunny suit, but lolitary has posted the same thing and is still up and running. They even pressured a (I think 14 year old) into suicide for only liking lolicon and nothing more.
So yeah, Reddit moment.
