Can confirm. Whenever I get super existential and self-loathing, I slip into an “anti-mode” and lash out at other pedophiles and lolicons and such. My irrational mind projects my own fears, doubts, and insecurities onto others and then uses those people as a punching bag. Really, it’s an expression of hatred towards myself. To “make up” for my own “sins” and shortcomings. I briefly mentioned it my opening paragraph on a recent post here:
